"Audiophile" tips Blu-Ray Player. The Denon earns nearly 5 star with a small tear as an accompaniment. The slim-line housing garnicht as with other manufacturers is clean and manufactured exactly but it is almost 10 cm high matching other Denon components. Inside work ELT a new BD drive in encapsulated design. When looking at the back of the "tidy" connection-amount falls on. ie other than Ethernet, HDMI and analog RCA outputs ... "disturbs nothing" and at the front there a USB connector ... basta. Denon sets in this player on full HDMI ... in itself a problem, but owners of older AV receiver at a disadvantage. The picture and sound quality is absolutely spotless and the player creates at least with me all the "pieces of silver" incl.SACD. Readout is let in DVD and BD short and via good top menu key to quickly launch movies. To often complained of noise from BD players: The Denon are only in the feeder tray and positioning of the laser part quiet noises that Einlesegeräusche Blu Rays are barely audible and in playback mode, I could not hear anything more. Absolutely inaudible BD player does not exist and the Denon never falls on unpleasant. The highlight of the player is the built excellent D / A converter of the potters in the Denon CD playback. Here Denon does not need a comparison with other special CD players to fear .... the sound output from the RCA sockets is absolutely inscribedable as excellent ... thus the "missing" Digital outputs are really more than replaceable. So this is also a CD player of the highest class will be "included" even with Pure Direct circuit in the CD field. This should be justified the price. Unclear to me, however, and that is the small tear in the matter, why Denon has donated no Wi-Fi .... Not for a slightly higher price. Almost all players in this price range have Wi-Fi connection .... for me it was not really important because I have connected the device via Ethernet. The manual is available on CD, but the instrument is preset fine. The OSD is clearly structured and easy to understand. In short "highly recommended" for the Blu-Ray player and the top CD player, so to speak as an accompaniment .... Since the ears amazed what suddenly comes to good CD's to light momentum, etc ...! Tip for very sensitive ears: As for me, the player stands on glass (acoustically sensitive) under the somewhat hard geratenen feet felt or rubber tile glue ..wirkt miracle! Addendum Feb. 2013 Madagascar 3 brings the player to crash, nothing works. Remedy Disconnect device from the mains and remove shortly after turn immediately BD disc. Emergency aid to play in the BD-Live menu setting disable BD-Live. Too bad, hope it stays the exception, let's see what comes to mind Denon.
