I have used this product, to get a flange connection between the supply and Muffler tight. Despite inserted sealing ring and the use of a new Board and a new muffler of a trademark liable company did not succeed before the exhaust completely seal (When holding the exhaust whistled out there, also condensation ran out of there). So I opened the connection after about two weeks, brushing these generous with this Montagepaste a. The consistency of the paste is about as toothpaste (very pleasant). The assembly paste hardened by the exhaust heat from complete, which necessarily has to be mentioned that the paste and after a few minutes in the air is getting tougher. Processing time I would therefore necessarily be limited to about 10 minutes.
About 3 weeks later now everything is still tight. The squeezes out the flange paste I had smeared around the flange still around. There is crumbling today from nothing. The cured paste is there hardline.
I would highly recommend this paste unrestricted. Tip: Quick work, since the paste on the air quickly becomes tough.
