This is my third headset to my PS3, the first was a "MAD CAZ" = very bad product, the 2nd a "PLANTRONICS" = good product but connection issues with PS3. For this official Sony headset, there is no connection problem, no noise, the sound quality is very good and my friends say the quality of the microphone for communication is very clear. The presence of the button (the red button you see on the front of the headset) can cut ONLY the microphone is very useful. Switching on / off microphone at the touch of the button. The support is connected via USB and can charge the headset by just this one based on its base. The party that fixed around the ear to maintain is malleable plastic to fit the morphology of your ear. In conclusion, this is a great product, official SONY PS3, you will find the same quality as for official PS3 controllers. I removed one star for overall rating just for the slightly larger size and weight than other products, but no ear pain during a use of several hours.
