Have a special test done and 2 "this" cable hung together, so that the line was then 2 meters long:

*) In PC: Transcend USB 3.0 interface card / adapter PCIe (2 ports)

*) External Hard Drive: 2.5 inch Western Digital Scorpio Blue 1000GB, 8MB WD10JPVT in RaidSonic Icy Box IB-housing-250StU3 + BH

Result: no speed loss! Unchanged 74 MB per second (testhalber copied in a train 5 films) is written to the external plate.
