My father is very happy with this cane. The floor can be easily adjusted without tools and in the length. It is important that you tighten the screw between the narrow extension and thicker shell by hand well, so the floor is really stable and nothing rattles.
Addendum dated August 2014: That part is still in tip top shape. Meanwhile, my father recommended the stock in the circle next ;-)
