Very good replacement for my old Noxon iRadio Küchenrdio

I have been Küchenradio because this in itself is very functional device had suffered a damage in the WLAN part in a fall from the kitchen shelf for quite some time on the search for a successor of my NOXON iRadio. This flew before my real favorite (Logitech Squeeze Boom) out of the race because it does not support UPNP but touches on the special Logitech system. I had, the sound of this unit are at a friend and was amazed at what you can get out of a "kitchen radio" sounded technically.

The Noxon iRadio successor 360 ./. 300 also eliminated because the software Noxon Connect (unlike its predecessor) is apparently necessary to manage the favorites. A friend has this device and also said that the sound of the previous model also is better.

So I met with the research on this Philips unit NP 3700/12, which got good values ​​in sound and price also appealed to me. In addition, it also seemed to meet my requirements catalog, so I decided to buy this equipment.

And what can I say: all my above points have been fully met. The sound is really a world away from what I knew of my old Noxon ago and the individual sound settings I eg when Noxon missing (there were only sound templates). I still have the sound of Logitech in the ear and - because of missing direct comparison -'m pretty sure that the sound of the NP 3700/12 at the correct settings even better (or at least as good).
My WLAN switches off automatically at night (when no device is online) from 23 clock from around then back on in the morning from 5:30 clock.
I had to enter a wireless key new - the Philips NP 3700/12 done the morning after turning his "service" without any problems. I turn the NP 3700/12 evening when not in use completely (power strip) and then again in the morning for breakfast. Everything runs smoothly and without any problems. Streamabrüche I could not watch (router is set to manual channel selection). Maybe here have some of this Rezensionisten WLAN Key problems therefore (not yet tested) because the device loses the connection to the router as it were in the current reception (including standby) (abgeschaltetes WLAN)!
