The flash light is emitted in a fairly large angle, which is once well as at least close-ups have no disturbing vignetting. However, in combination with the low & Cover very good there is the phenomenon of "self-blinding". This is bad.
Part of the light is in fact coupled into the transparent material of the envelope, as this runs directly to the LED - the flash illuminates the quasi envelope. The turn forwards hervoragend and sends the light directly on to the lens 3 millimeters, where the flash leaves the shell side and in the lens cover reenters.
The result is a milky blurred shots that look better reproducible without shell.
If in the end only the tiresome consideration, which never hurts.
Cell Protection and bad flash shooting?
Unprotected phone with clear and high-contrast pictures with flash?
Or ... something back cut envelope in time to remove the rubber from the light emergence angle!
We reconsider. :-)
