Pros:
- The structure is very easy to perform, even without instructions.
- Also, the degradation is very easy and very fast.
- The execution seems durable and I would not expect a rapid wear of the mechanics or the like.
- The weight is very pleasant, and almost surprisingly light.
- The light is transmitted through the two Difussionstücher beautifully soft.
- In spite of the two cloths quite bright.
Why then so only 4 points?
I compare the SMDV D60 with the Aurora Firefly II 65th
And just wanted one of them to keep. The SMDV D60 has almost entirely cut off worse.
But that's just personal taste. I will under no circumstances make this softbox bad.
I would have been happy securely with any of the two. So please do not cons sooo seriously. ;-)
Here the cons:
- Almost all mechanical components are made of plastic. The holder of the screen bars and the Spigot recording.
- The inside of the screen is not accessible. Mir is the "yoghurt pot" fallen by lightning. One has to be through the small opening for the flash back out again shake.
- Due to the depth of 35 cm (65 Firefly II has ca 25 cm), the light is directed a little more.
- When extracting the bars popping along with a sometimes quite loud bang when dissolving the Arettierung.
I hope this helps you a bit when deciding :-)
