The soft shell is well breathable and the most hot air can escape so already. After the end of the tournament I was only slightly sweaty. If you exchange the light sweatshirt against a stronger one can be on the road in my opinion, up to -20 ° C with this softshell.
Function of Softshell:
At the bottom of the softshell has an excellent and thoughtful lacing works well. The sleeves can be adjusted well at the end of the hook and loop fasteners.
The zippers of the pockets are easy to open and close even with gloves.
The collar is excellent, a scarf can and should be saved with this softshell.
A balaclava you can still wear with this if you want, then the collar in the closed state should be very tight-fitting (my cup is always a bit bigger).

Material of Soft Shell:
The easy flow inside feels good, and if you bring the Soft Shell from the washing machine out it still looks a bit unsightly, freshly ironed but this is again fully ok. Unfortunately, the Softshell takes a long time to dry, as they should not be thrown in the wash, but thanks to the dry ironing is also fine. The upper material is resistant, if one slips on a slope in the terrain I could with my inner elbow hang from a tree and was shooting me by. The place where the softshell has come with the bark of the tree in contact, has been given no discernible damage. So what keeps you out also. During the whole tournament no wetness from outside came through to the inside.

Attention! Runs great. I usually need XL, L finally has me fully served. The soft shell lies on the arms well and more importantly for archers, they do not fluttered around!
