Very good telephone system for medium to large household or small office

Some negative reviews are for me incomprehensible, or only in so far as there seems to be lack of knowledge among the users.
I myself have the Eumex 800 installed in under an hour and configured with occupancy of 6 analog extensions (if you create one that hurries in under 30 minutes).
Much must not be set up (I use the expert mode) and this is almost self-explanatory in the configuration software. A bit of basic knowledge, however, should already be in place, there is a telephone system which is suitable even for small offices / companies.

The "simple clamping bushes" criticized elsewhere are an asset. The technician can then quickly reconnect the wires and damage to the fine (rigid) conductors through to tightening the screws will be excluded. The terminals are as noted rigid circuit, no wires. Therefore, one should not simply cut the cord of his phone (= strand) and fumble in the terminals - it's true - the wires are not designed for it. It makes sense to use as network installation cable eg type Cat.5 (e) (S / FTP), as these are very inexpensive and also better shielded than telecommunications installation cable. In addition, it has so in one cable equals 8 cores corresponding to four analog lines (provided that they are walking into a room or a central office, otherwise you take that number of cores per cable required).

The facility is intended for a structured cabling (therefore there is no direct terminal sockets). Ie from the terminals of the system would rewire initially (at a patch panel which is used exclusively for the distribution of telephony or) to UAE sockets or older TAE doses. Then the devices can be connected as required to the cans.

The advantage of UAE doses is in the free use, either as a network data connection or phone line. Cables and connectors are assembled to fit as needed. Single RJ12 (for analog or ISDN telephones) and RJ45 socket (for the connection boxes) are inexpensive to purchase and pliers for home use there for under 20 Euro. Alternatively (expensive) adapters could be purchased.

As already mentioned, may serve a maximum of four analog devices a UAE port.
It is recommended for more complex cabling may be installed directly after the telephone system, a patch panel and hang up all connections of the telephone system there. Then the patch panel of the home network installation ideally in indirect proximity, then doses can be routed cables to UAE as needed.
However, pay attention to documentation and network devices (network adapters) should never in contact with the phone lines available (possibly 40 Volt).

The configuration of the system via USB is Ok, the configuration is made once and not permanently changed. Alternatively, the system could be addressed by a PC with ISDN card. Incidentally, it is possible the electoral process for each port separately. Even older dial telephones or "antique" phones can be used.
