The housing and the display appears with the conform the original Canon TC-80N3. Menu navigation and function is the same. Only the rotary switch is here of a significantly poorer quality, for the timer and cost yes but only one-fifth of the original Canon timer. So far I would say that part is an absolute bargains. The encoder on the side makes a significantly lower quality than the impression, the original timer. But that's just an impression, I have the part just a few minutes and can not say anything about the quality. In the original timer as this can not be here off, the CR2032 stops depending on usage easily half a year to two years. I bought two timers and become a convert to control my smartphone camera.
