I had chosen consciously for a 3DTV with polarization technology. Advantages are certainly the glasses that do not require power and eeshalb significantly lighter than the shutter colleagues. In addition, the shutter technique was at the time by the transmission of signals via infrared still too vulnerable, which has by now done, thanks to wireless connection.
The TV shows pleasant, lifelike colors, a good "Motionflow" and has a very good 3D image. The only downside is the relatively high power consumption, because the TV is not backlit by LEDs, but with fluorescent tubes.
