Connecting directly to the LNB was done quickly. According to the manual I have the sensitivity set to a medium value when the TV and even checked whether the signal improves the slight movement of the still screwed antenna in any direction, which was clearly the case. Then I have the screw for adjusting the vertical tilt angle and carefully remove the bowl set a little higher - so that an improvement of around a value (6 rather than 5) was, after all, ever connected.
When loosening the mast clamp to rotate the antenna dish to me is sideways slip and the signal was suddenly gone. With the help of satellite Finders I could get through the Horizontal setting to maximum signal strength, but the TV screen remained dark ("no satellite signal available"). After a while the unsuccessful trial and error I got the inspiration that I could have possibly caught a neighboring satellite, which of course does not display the meter. So to solve the mast clamp and swing the dish sideways until a signal is detected again, with the TV displays an image. Aha, there we have it again, the Astra 19.2 East. The final horizontal fine alignment has indeed lasted lasted because of rusted clamped fixing a while, but the reward is now an optimal signal strength and quality.
Conclusion: although the pointer when meter of SF 2400 nervously reacts somewhat and tilts the displayed signal value without changing any settings for easy vacillation the device is a good help for the antenna alignment (assuming, of course, you have the right satellite in sight! ). Given the low price and the easy operation, I think 5 star review is appropriate.
