I searched long been a fan design worthy of the name, and I must admit that I am not disappointed. Some will find it is a bit "loaded" with these 5 branches in lighting, but in the end I find it rather personally class. It is very quiet even in high speed. And no rattling or other unpleasant background noise as I have heard other fans. It therefore seems well made. The engine is rather heavy. That gives me confidence, even if it does perhaps mean anything ... Lengthy assembly time: 3:00 Total for one, but I'm not a regular. Slight scratches on some blades of white side (we had chosen with my wife) but it does not really see once hung from the ceiling. No biggie so, yet I find it abnormal! The IR remote control correctly answer but must still well point towards the fan. RF telco would have been preferable, but there I really become too demanding :-) Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase, especially as the price is really not too much (and I compared for long enough).
As for Amazon, never a problem for me. Fast, efficient and often (but not always) cheaper.
