Deb Talan and Steve Tannen, the name behind -The Weepies- have remained true to their style with -Sirens-. Thank God. .Since Natalie Merchant sings no more in the 10,000 Maniacs and on the new album by Mumford & Sons more Electric- be used as acoustic guitars, it is hard to find a consistently strong folk-rock album. The Weepies have so brought with -Sirens- exactly one album to the starting line. If Talan and Tannen in vocal harmonies almost mantra-like sing their texts, one assumes that with immediately.
