I find the scratching post at this price very good. If you have a cat that goes outside, so sufficient a small perfectly. I also find it stable enough. The paw of the hanging rubber band was indeed fast times torn down by one of my cats, but then have simply instead a band to play to knotted. I think it also depends on the cat down to how wild this play with it. Overall, a pretty and beautiful scratching post. I would recommend this buy again. ;)
