first impression:
hard ... the wall mount is made of sheet steel that is painted black.
The workmanship is very neat, no scratches on the paintwork or burrs, sharp edges.
A matt varnish would be better to fingerprints, but he is hanging on the wall, so that you can barely coming into contact after installation.
Assembly:
