Very quiet fan with good optics

Processing:
For the smaller fans I had complained about the material thickness, but here you can not really complain. The frame has a much more stable and has remained somewhat flexible at the same time.
But very well done, I found the design of the LED (these can be replaced in an emergency itself), and the black ribbon cable with the fan is powered. Thus the customer is the laying of the cable made easy. Likewise, you will find a black fan connector for the motherboard of good to the rest image fits

Accessories:
In the box you will find, apart from the fans themselves, only a small bag with four black fan screws. This is not about the usual 08/15 screws, but really good! You are deep black, from a good metal, and the cutting performance is very good.
In my view, these screws are a bit even better than my otherwise always preferred fan screws of InLine.

Volume:
As with the small version makes the term 'Quiet Edition' really make sense. Neither the fan itself, nor the resulting air flow can be described as 'sound'.
However, this is also very dependent on the housing. In my Corsair 750D they become noticeable only as a front fan. However, they themselves are unregulated lot more pleasant than the previously installed standard fan (which are already not so bad).

Appearance:
The illumination provided by the LED also knows how to please. A rich red that is not too intrusive and illuminates the surroundings. In direct comparison with the small version, they act somewhat darker because the LED under a little further apart.
One can say that they illuminate about 10-15cm well then what the next 10-15cm weakens gradually.

Water cooling:
Despite the 'open' frame, these fans are suitable in pull configuration also very good for water cooling. However, one should then also a radiator block has a coarse lamellar structure (such as the 30mm radiators from Alphacool or Nemesis GTS Hardware Labs).

TL / DR
Who is looking for quiet lit fans who can access here without hesitation. These fans (not necessarily in that color;)) will come up with in my list of standard components.

Purchase recommendation

Tips:
1. Even if one should not lay cables between the motherboard support and motherboard, so this is for once possible with the connecting cables of the fans. Of course it should be clear that one then the cables can be enough game, and the tray (!) Attached.
2. The fans are also well suited for a CPU cooler or radiator.
3. The cooling performance is improved if you radiators at a 'collar' of tape tinkering. Then you should watch but that this construction is not visible and as the fan between the cover and radiator mounted.
