Very recommendable USB HUB - also suitable as a charger for Smartphones

I have long toyed with the idea to buy a USB hub to provide some order. I have long been the integrated USB hub used by my monitor even works, but is not a particularly elegant solution, as the USB ports are mounted on the side and down the cable hang ugly ...

Now for the D-Link Hub. I had previously never bought a product from D-Link. For this stroke, I can say: A very good product at a fair price. The design is simple and appealing. I compared the speed in which I once, once infected a USB stick directly on the computer to the hub. It can be seen no difference, the D-Link hub thus operates at full speed. He supplied a pair of little Logitech USB speakers and recharges my iPhone (of course, even when the computer).
Thus, the hub serves its purpose fully.
But I must mention that the Mac OS System Profiler the manufacturer of the hub with "Action Star" displays ... So can also be that the beautiful body but only OEM Hardware infected. On the other hand restricts the functionality not a yes.

The stroke itself would earn 5 stars, but unfortunately (unfortunately, unfortunately) I like the included accessories not quite as good. The USB cable to connect the hub to the computer is a bit short fall (subjectively). The power supply device side has an angle connector. The USB connection to the computer and the power connector for the AC adapter are both on the back of the stroke. By the angle plug the power cord is but laterally ... Although these are only details, but they interfere with the otherwise almost perfect overall picture. Given the price, I find the appropriate accessories, however.

To return once more to the initiation. I had some time ago to buy a hub. The D-Link Hub is cheaper than an Apple Lightning cable ;-) The hub therefore replaced with me the iPhone power adapter.
