This connector is made of solid rubber outside and inside of a very sturdy plastic slide. The screws and thread for attaching the wires are also made of very solid and resistant material. The strain relief is stable. The cable entry is very well sealed. The outer contacts are designed very robust. Only when the outer screw holding the jacket, you have to be careful, because this opens into the inner plastic slide and there is also located the thread. Here there is a risk of overturn, but if you know it, this is not a problem.
The connection is easy to accomplish.
The price is certainly higher than that of Bauhaus goods, but the quality and the long life just have their value, but also a certain surcharge. We no longer want to do without durable, sustainable products, therefore this replacement.
