First off strong buy recommendation.

The charger can be as described
+ 1A / 0.5A charging (I see no downshifting even with 4 batteries can)
+ The AC adapter has 2.5A at 12V (30 watts)
And so I again speak definitely some of the other Rezessionisten.
Because with 30W are (even in low 5V for charging electronics) still depending Slot 1.5 amps available.
And if one expects 4.2 V after all, still good 1.7 amperes.
+ LiPo and NiCad batteries reliably charged / discharged / measured

Disadvantages:
- A fairly loud beeper that beeps 3 times each time fully charged battery
- It can not LiFePo batteries are charged.
The stand as well as in the description and as single cells, these are rare.
