This model also pleased me because of its removable inner bowl of thick stainless steel, without non-stick coating suspected to be hazardous to health.
Unpacking and getting started is very simple. A French manual allows to take control of the device, which commands are rather simple, and sufficiently intuitive control panel icons for not having to continually return to the manual.
The electric cable can be unplugged from the unit, it stores inside if you will, with a tripod and a steam basket.
The lid has a convenient handle large to transport equipment safely for storage but especially to put it out to let the steam escape after cooking, so as not to fog up the kitchen and sprinkle the worktop around the valve ...
A very important point about security: the double wall of the electric model that the outside of the appliance reaches a temperature a bit hot but not burning during cooking: no risk of burning, whereas with a pressure cooker you put on the fire must be taken during and after cooking.
The closing and opening are very easily, by simply turning the large handle.
The device allows multiple cooking modes, that little chain by revenue: browning meat or onions then add the other ingredients and switch to steam or pressure mode. A heating mode starts after cooking for 4 hours maximum. A simmering mode allows slow cooking. One can easily cook rice too.
Compared to a negative comment about cooking, I said that I did the dishes when we first brown meat then cook under pressure in a juice or broth: this was never attached. A goulash was a delight, just put a little fat for browning, and then "deglaze" with broth (pour the liquid and scrape caramelized juices at the bottom with a wooden spoon, which will prevent the transition to a very good taste to the broth). Of course if you do not put liquid and we cooked it going strong or long tie, but revenue for pressure cookers provide all the case, and no worry on my side.
In other words, this device combines several functions into one that can be separately Slow cooker + + + steamer-cooked rice + pan.
Attention to the amount: the tank is 5 liters but should be completed as 2/3 or 3/4 max, so it is not a very large model useful size for the food to cook. I use it without problems for dining for 4 or 6. Many family pressure cookers are rather 6-8 liters, and are more suitable for many diners.
Maintenance is easy. The inner bowl is dishwasher-safe and the lid does not contain too many nooks to spend the towel.
The apparatus comprises two joints, that are transparent silicone case which seems much more resistant than the old black rubber gasket that was cracking in my memory of childhood cooker, large seal for the lid, and a little to the safety valve. I searched the references of these joints in parts, the only answer is that the manufacturer is in Germany: he gave me a quote of 11 for two O + 12 delivery charge ...
Last point that is the only small criticism: the steam basket delivered is too small for my taste, a higher basket come quite in the tank and suddenly I'm forced to look more cart - which is not hello easy and cost of spare parts of other brands!
Apart from this small criticism I am extremely happy with this purchase.
