Very stable (!) - With the thickness necessary to cope

As in the family recently went again a smartphone to break I had the idea of ​​me again after a stable shell / shell etc. to see. And I came for a friendly note on the Otterbox.
The price (OVP 49.95 in the EU) made me a little suspicious already only what I researched more.

My impressions of the Otterbox for WP 8x:
+ Very robust
+ Shock-absorbing
+ Solid, stable and permanent screen protector integrated into the shell
+ Very high quality material
+ Does not stink
+ Makes a very strong impression, no loose parts or corners that could easily break

0 screen protector does not sit 100% plan, you get used to the touch but it quickly
0 Not fully waterproof, but this was before clear

- Thickness of the mobile phone doubles quasi (estimated), but there is a belt clip case
- Docking stations no longer usable, since a silicone flap must be bent backwards (dust)

All in all I have to say that it is probably the best available protection for mobile phones. Why not make it right even waterproof I do not quite understand, but I do not intend to go swimming with my phone.

Would buy again at any time.
