Then a little more detail:
The game spans a very impressive scenario, inspired by the Victorian era, it is probably attributable to the Steampunk, although it actually typical machines are more likely not to be found. For this is a bit on an "alternative" Electrical received (Nicola Tesla), which is also found in some steampunk scenarios yes. Otherwise, can be found in the stories / background mix the Arthussaga including the Round Table, Dracula and Jack the Ripper. The whole but not forced, but very nice fit.
The story is good, has for me perhaps too little twists, and is too predictable and Hollywood-bar goods, as it would have been really nice if you (not ausgelutschte to say) would have left paths since leaked in some places.
The biggest drawback of the game is really good, the gameplay itself. It's just too little of it available. I think overall pretty succeeded mix between narrative passages, Action and Quick-Time-Events, but all in all you think of some places: Now I'd like some more. Be it (lab / library) where there are simply exploring places too little to interact, or "Labyrinth" sequences where it ultimately remains too much like a hose (hose level there are always, only it does not interfere at any point). The QTE are also as good as rarely integrated into a game, although the required keys are integrated into the image disturb the mood hardly.
Overall, the atmosphere / the setting of the great advantage of the game, if you even just a little can engage in it, she takes a quick trapped and you can very nice dive into this version of London.
The people are generally also well represented and also voice acted very appealing, definitely better than in most German TV productions!
Very pleasant falls to the German synchronization which is well done and still dispense with the same old familiar voices, what is truly remarkable MMN.
The last point of criticism is maybe the short playing time, I myself was through after about 8 hours and a replayability arises MMN also more than it is to see some really brilliant scenes again. Nevertheless, I do not prefer 8h right to be entertained than 20h tolerably well. Even in the longer narrative sequences never comes the need to "fast forward", it's really every minute filled with action and not with filler (ok, the only exception Rats-trial could be a bit more streamlined).
I have certainly a weekend felt really good chat, whether someone the full price is worth, you can choose only themselves. I would like to experience the game yet or loving and look forward to eventual Sequel.
