I think Midnight Club apart from a few minor things a great racing game, probably the current best for the PS3.

PRO:
+ Huge game world
+ Great vehicle choice
+ Bikes are also included
+ Large proportion Tuning
+ Special Abilities
+ Much more realistic and oncoming traffic
+ People on the sidewalk, the dodge, when you want to drive them
+ Day / night and weather changes
+ Varied races
+ Will not be boring
+ Long game
+ Motivating Trophies System

Cons:
- Schwirigkeitsgrad is something exaggerated in some races
- Avoid the traffic with 300km / h is a matter of luck
- Guidance through the race are confusing (easy method possible!)
- Sidekick opens -> Radar is no longer visible -> Police Alarm
