So far I have the HTC TyTN II used, a very good device with outstanding features and very good touch.
Before ordering the HTC Touch Diamonds I had in mind a little, some recessions speak of poor response of the display or even delayed by work ...
I can only (as very experienced smartphone users !!!) negative: the Diamond terminal is the fastest ever Windows Mobile device that I've ever obsessed! the touch screen responds without noticeable delay, the bottom placed buttons react when you first press all!
Most of all, impressed me the 3D touch interface, it is very nice to look at, practical and above all, very fast to use.
I do not know how the gentlemen in front of me sometimes it come, the unit would be slow or would not respond? I must assume that the latter vll newcomers are!?!?
Conclusion: My best ever smartphone exception of this class !!! There is literally nothing (apart from a DVBH chip), which the appliance is home!

+ GPS: very fast and excellent constant reception without Quick-GPS update (tested with TomTom 6 Western Europe)
+ Crisp display (best ever, I've ever seen!)
+ HTC Touch 3D interface (very convenient and visually to look beautiful, combines all the necessary functions!)
+ Touch Screen is very precise and after a few minutes (!) Exercise flawlessly operated
+ Well thought-out concept of the structure starting
+ Good SMS / E-Mail Tip systems (normal mobile phone keypad, Compact QWERTY or full QWERTY keyboard, all 3 to 99% error-free use. In SMS, I use mainly the keypad of a normal mobile phones with stylus for writing longer texts, I use the QWERTY variant, some with and some without a stylus [mainly without even])
+ Camera: (!) Very, very good image quality in daylight
+ Voice quality: no exaggeration very, very good sound! [Note: Be sure Mr company the pre-glued protector unpack and assemble the enclosure film !!! Aie old foil glued viz via the handset hole, which I initially thought my phone (because I did not hear my interlocutor) would defective =)
+ Amazingly fast wireless internet (!)
+ Battery: with my normal use enough (I would use my GPS without Car Charger, this would probably not be the case) battery lasts at my usage habit between one and a maximum of two days. Update: battery will last for my use (~ 60 min telephony, SMS 30 in, 30 out SMS, ~ 10-15 min HSDPA connection.) A little more than a day.
+ Position sensor:. Allows secondarily the game Teeter, in which a small ball has to avoid as small holes (only by moving the phone () to last to fall into a selected target hole primary but can be so without a touch of a button, solely by pivoting the device turn the screen surface, eg when viewing long texts or images etc.
+ Design: the device is easy to see beautifully in shape and form. Very noble housing that attracts envious looks se
+ Robust housing: very good workmanship, acts and is probably not very fragile
+ Display in summer: easily despite sunlight readable!
+ Lighting the bottom mounted buttons: very good, Gimmnick: the center button has offekundig light gimmicks: the light travels in a circle when you receive new messages, while charging etc (only looks good, therefore listed under Pro, a red lit indicator would have done it eventually)
+ Charging time: about 1.5 to a maximum of 2 hours and thus faster than previous devices

- Camera: no Flash for dark shots, further: for snapshots by tripping time longer unsuitable (Nevertheless cam quality is 1A)
- SMS: by Win Mob 6.1 .: SMS are strung together (I personally like not good). EDIT: see comment for review: Is an entry in the registry successfully amendable!
- FINGERPRINTS actually unavoidable
- Battery: in dominant use (GPS, etc) inadequate
- Is when navigating but also during longer calls quite hot, to navigating subsequent calls or continual further calls without a headset could be perceived partly as unpleasant
- GPS: without car charger, so for Outdoor / -Car activities unsuitable (battery-heavy)
- Battery indicator: no percentages of the remaining battery charge (only divided into 10-20% -bar)
- Keypad on the lower quarter of the unit: does not handle well under certain circumstances, can be (have already held 3 devices in hands and used) sometimes only differ good press (on some devices, a creaking, no clear pressure point) erkannbar to the unevenness of the keys ( Keys are slightly beyond the unit itself in the highest!)
- Crashes: very rare, so far only the excessive sending and receiving text messages is an error which requires a restart of the device

~ HTC is in a few days / weeks a new battery for HTC Touch Diamond offer. Cost point in about 40 euros, then the performance would therefore at 1350 mAh, which increase performance more than 50% would be achieved. Contra stronger battery: attached to the battery is an original, thicker upper rear panel, the battery will therefore be thicker than the original must be enclosed with the device, the terminal also wodruch some mm "lose" ...
~ Equipment to me already once from about 1.5 meters in height has been dropped (concrete), though protected by a cell phone pocket ... except for a small scratch on a corner, the HTC Touch Diamond has remained intact. All functions intact.
I am very very happy and very satisfied with this new device!
