Here but a few impressions for Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor:
In addition to Gillette Wilkinson is one of the brands that I always like to come back to razors, first because of shave noticeably longer good as in my experience some already used by me unbranded shaver and also are less prone to injury as various other razors, which are especially in some difficult places, such as around the ankles around become easily cuts.
The Hydro Silk is to be held shortly before use under water so that the moisture contained serum is activated.
The shaver can be used thanks to this serum without additional or shaving gel and glides smoothly and safely through the skin.
The five very close succession loaded blades provide a very good result already at the first train even in difficult parts of the body.
As an extra, there is a shelf that can be mounted on request on the wall.
So while it objectively is no reason to complain, there are some little things that I like a little less good at Wilkinson Hydro Silk than my Gillette Venus:
- He is a little less comfortable to hold (but what about taste and Gewöhungsache)
- He's a little wider and thus a little less maneuverable
- He has no guard, always give me a pleasant feeling of security
- The serum does not last very long, so that one finally again needed shower or shaving gel.
A distinct advantage of the Hydro Silk on the other hand, the five blades that yet again markedly more thorough work as three or four.
Ultimately, only every lady out by the self-test, which they are more familiar.
Personally, I'm going to stay because of the ease of handling for me and the guard at the Gillette Venus.
Since I always shave in the shower, me is the serum, although undoubtedly a pleasant extra, not too important, it also is faster anyway all when the razor is blunt.
Nevertheless, the Wilkinson Hydro Silk is a very good Raierer, which is particularly recommended in regard to etrem thoroughly working five blades.
