Incidentally, I have the same loaded the latest drivers from the Brother website and left the CD on the left. The page at Brother is very clear, so that this is done quickly.
The printer is connected from any device via WiFi (WLAN). Win7 (Ultimate) and Win8.0 computers are. It can be easily print and the quality is very good.
But there are also shadows: The Brother app for printing via Android smartphone did not do it. You can not find the printer on the network. The reviews for the app are catastrophic, so I will probably never use, although it irritated me would sometimes also print one or the other erstöberte PDF via tablet or phone.
The paper guide ensures longitudinal bends at cheap 80g paper, because the paper is forced to very thin guide rails around the corner. This was solved with the HP better.
For the two things, there is a star deduction.
It should be noted that this is not a PostScript or PCL printer in this price range. This means that the page processing is performed in the printer driver (GDI). This can possibly be for Linux users in problem, although there is also a Linux driver from Brother (not tested).
At the present time there is a firmware update. But if I have not yet recorded.
If the starting cartridges are all, there is an update to the review.
