I would describe myself as an advanced guitarist who was certainly not overwhelmed by the level of arrangements. Nevertheless, I have a lot of fun with this band. Admittedly, not all arrangements are good, especially the ballads - as well as "Let It Be" are something badly trimmed. To a large extent, but the balance between faithfulness and playability is very well taken. I particularly liked the reactions of Eleanor Rigby, When I'm sixty for, Octopus's Garden, Love me do, and Lady Madonna. Just then when the pieces plays a bit faster than the original, this comes on mood. And the devil is in the details: Things must first be made to sound and swing ...
The Arranger limits his Arragements to the normal atmosphere and a special drop-D tuning (shutting voices of low E string to D). To this extent it should have met the needs of the masses (and the "Only-note reader"), which are often hard pressed to further Umstimmereien. Personally, I would, however, welcome a little more courage in this point.
Still, all in all a very successful book that will appeal to many amateur guitarist and Beatles-lovers. Extravagant and virtuoso arrangements it does not contain, however.
