The label designs come in all sizes and are suitable for many uses: identification records, circular labels for CD-DVD, address labels, price tags, bar codes, ID badges to give to visitors, etc.
The choice offered in terms of fonts and body is more than enough, but thermal printing remains in black and white.
This already expensive machine, which takes up space (12.4 x 18.4 cm), and claiming as many rolls of labels as there are models to print, is well suited to professionals, merchants and businesses. Pa cons I think the Dymo 450 is not adapted to the needs of a single individual who would hear some very occasionally print adhesive labels.
Highlights:
- The concept: it is easier to print from a roll as manage the publishing of some labels arranged on an A4 sheet,
- Print Speed hallucinating,
- Excellent quality,
- Reasonable Cost of consumables (4 cents label format 36 x 89 mm, 2 cents for the format 32 x 67 mm, and a lot cheaper if you buy a compatible product that is not Dymo brand.
The weak point:
While the machine can do almost everything. But to get the user must regularly switch the rollers to print the most suitable type, which is exhausting. Also, the machine is suitable primarily for intensive printing one kind détiquette. Dymo is clearly aware, since there is another model Dymo LabelWriter Twin Turbo can simultaneously handle two different rolls.
Areas for improvement:
- The control software is not complicated to use, but it is less intuitive than the ubiquitous Windows such products. Again it does not matter if your need is little changed,
- The type of roll you load in the printer is not recognized automatically. It is through the software you manually select the correct label format. Curiously, the printer comes with a roll of label format 36 x 89 mm, but the choice of software defect corresponds to another size. Jai and missed my first label
In summary, this machine deserves 5 stars for a highly targeted professional use, and only 3 to 4 stars if your needs are more diverse.
