Vespers at the Handel glory

This recording is simply MAGISTRAL! The Taverner Consort & Andrew Parrott give great momentum to this work out of the adagio tempo of Marc Minkowski. Parrott here chooses to include Dixit in an office of vespers, the Carmelite Vespers. Of course, all this is based on musicological sources. That would be for vespers that Handel would have been led to meet several of its Latin religious works, made in Italy. We also find on this CD Salve Regina, sublime work, listen carefully. Except recording, enjoy! For rarely has the quality at that price!
