However, the countries do not comply, of course, as indicated, to scale the actual data. Small countries are quite abstract or not shown. Some countries / islands are only partially (in my case, inter alia, Italy) or imprecise (in my case, among others Hungary, Switzerland, Austria and so on) or not (for example, Denmark and many more.) Some are on a bottle place (eg Morocco, etc.). The red English lettering of countries is often placed inaccurate and sometimes barely legible. The golden latitudes are mounted partly wrong ...
Well, certainly really difficult to implement at a as stated "artisanal individual gemstone work". It looks definitely by hand. It may therefore be possible that each globe has also slight differences in manufacturing.
It was already clear to me, that is the "gem work" not be exactly like a printed globe, but this inaccuracy is a bit disappointing.
The rotation mechanism is of little value and scratching when turning. The upper globe holder is slightly bent with me, small scratches on globe exist. So for this price I would have expected more quality work.
Conclusion:
For the fitting of 50 cm distance as nice looking piece of it is suitable as a "refined built" or even a "work of art" (the description) but I would call it less. It is a purely optical product with a number of defects and the global geography has only "a standard nature".
Price-performance quality 2 star price-performance optics about 4 stars. So on average just under 3!
