The taste and the smell from the Lagavulin 16 years single malt whiskey has changed dramatically.
When I looked a few weeks ago, due to numerous positive reviews, the
Lagavulin 16 years Single Malt Whisky've ordered from Amazon, I was impressed.
The features I could in this whiskey, as were found on a variety of sites on the Internet, find themselves:
powerful
smoky peat notes
oily
powerful sherry sweetness
long complex aftermath
Exactly, that's what this whiskey was distinguished.
After the bottle was emptied, I ordered a bottle again at Amazon.
But what I found!
The smell and the taste of Lagavulin was 16 with any of my beloved attributes
like: powerful; Peat notes sherry sweetness and a long complex follow-up to compare.
Everything was gone!
It presents a non-edible whiskey.
I guessed it was because of a manufacturing defect.
After a friendly conversation with an Amazon Associate the bottle to return with a new bottle was replaced.
Expectant I opened the bottle and realized with horrified that the
Lagavulin 16 just as awful tasted like the bottle previously.
A word from the research I now have to realize that other whiskey enthusiasts also had the Lagavulin 16 unlucky.
See below:
The flavor of Lagavulin has 16 changed?
It may of course be that the company has its Lagavulin recipe, to their detriment, as amended.
Or a complete bottling was flawed.
