This product probably not withstand immersion, which anyway is not the goal. However, it is resistant to rain and splashing. In my case it is mounted on a quad, so I can say that it also resists dirt. The many shims provided allows adjustment closer by type of iphone or shell you have. However, careful not to have too large shell (shell battery type). The house its easy wins which is convenient for not being stolen but thanks to its locking system remains in place even on difficult terrain. The closure is fragile but has not broken yet.
