So Much Trouble (CD)

Customer Review

Good! The first album, a real slap in the face, the wild stuff that smells of beer, abused amp lamps and raring to go. Impressions confirmed by two concerts that left me on my foundation.
So big big expectation that this second album.
And there is disappointment.
Surely those securities or three well dislodged, the voice is still there, but the rest is much less rock.
Of course, Izïa could not make a copy of the first album, we would then accused of not knowing renew. She has made other artistic choices that many appreciate but, PERSONALLY, I insist, touch me less.
Less aggressive music, most agreed arrangements with despite everything, this sense of melody which is one of the strengths of the miss.
What bothers me most is the mix, I find it horrible. I who love slamming the batteries there, so they are sometimes mixed in one loses the way, strange for a rock album which wants.
Fewer big guitar riffs, less voice roars ...
In short, it's another Izïa before us.
But it is easily forgiven, she's young, she has time before her, especially as the onstage So Much Trouble songs take on another dimension, Izïa having kept this crazy energy that characterizes it.
Only 3 stars so in my case. But that does not prevent me to have a big affection for the girl and watch the third generation ;-)
