First I find a little shame for translating the English title (The Bluterian Jihad) by the war machine especially the second volume is titled 'The cruisade of machinery'. On the book itself, we can say that the senario is well established but the strings well (too) known. As in the previous trilogy from the beginning to see how will organize forces (who will become that ...). It is enough to have seen the roles reversed Harkonnen and Atreides, but again the 3rd chapter can predict the end of the book. That said reading is fluid, easy and enjoyable. Brian Herbert is a good writer but even supported by Anderson he can not hold a candle to his father. That said it does not keep me waiting impatiently volume 2 (in English in September).
