Highlight at a glance:
---------------------------
- Radio (FM / AM) in stereo or mono (selectable)
- MP3 / WMA playback from CD / USB flash drive (USB flash drive must be formatted FAT32!)
- Title in the display (streaming tape)
- Mega Bass (The sound works by not quite so flat and is not so bassy, as the name suggests)
- Mains or battery operation possible (6 C-size batteries required)
- Radio stations remain stored even after pulling plug
Negatives:
--------
- If the unit has been disconnected from the power and is switched on via the radio button,
is the radio every time at the lowest frequency of 88.80 MHz. And I have
saved several radio stations and to the station memory number. 1 last heard!
That's not very comfortable and I have never experienced in any radio so.
But you get used to it.
My main focus was actually on the radio functions and an appealing sound. The radio reception is working well. The sound is okay for the price range, but does not convince me really, because I heard about it over long hours of radio and music. The device is suitable as a primary FR for the kids, but not for much longer.
Conclusion: If (eg CD player, USB flash drive playback, MP3 / WMA playback) wants a universal tuner with itself, the ideal device receives here for 60 with a mediocre sound you do not want to listen for hours. But the speakers are too simple. The compact and functional design and the simple and self-explanatory operation convince.
