Long version:
I am a student, 21 years old and have been in my room (about 20 sqm, roof slopes on both sides) with a Teufel Concept E2 heard music. Bothered me here, the lack of stereo sound, so I wanted to switch to a different solution.
Since we have a Sonos Play in the kitchen: 1, and have the app I liked very much by the operator, I wanted two Play: 3 order to provide sound to the room. Unfortunately, I was not convinced the solution and I'm on a Sonos Connect: switched AMP + JBL Connect One:
Initially I did not like the sound. Somehow it lacked bass. After a period of 2 business days but these were more present (or maybe I was simply accustomed only to the sound). The heights are matched perfectly and you can hear things you had not noticed before.
Due to lack of bass I opted for the listed here Teufel Ultima 20 MK2, which I on eBay (directly from hell), for 161 - have risen. As you are used to it from hell the speaker within one business day (well packed) were delivered.
When I set up the speakers, I wondered a little about the measurements, because somehow they look in the pictures less (especially if you get used to the compact JBL Control One). From a processing perspective, the speakers make a very good impression. Of the exposed adhesive described here, I could not see anything. The terminals act solid.
The first bass seasoned and filled the room good. But with "Lorde - Team" bothered me for the first time something like this: The voices were somehow not as clean as I was used to from the last days there. Also in Mando Diao's MTV Unplugged album was something different. The guitars sounded not so clean. Similar Unsaubarkeiten I noticed at Lindsey Stirling Violin in "Crystallize".
Test, I put it back to the JBL Control One. This sound in direct comparison to the devils much smoother and cleaner. I've heard a number of songs 4-5 times and unfortunately had to find that the Ultima 20 Mk2 can not convince me. Hear voices somehow hollow to, in some instruments, it simply lacks brilliance. Turning the Treble controls only makes it worse (sounding artificially).
Those who have no direct comparison, which it is not likely to interfere, I could, however, even after several hours listening to music, not used to the Speaker, and I will most likely return again later in the week (or perhaps even sell) and the Omniton 202 due try the positive reviews here. Until then, I hear more the JBL.
