The quality is deplorable: we must force the plug usb to limit the risk of broken raspberry pi, and plastic box that covers the hardware in a very fragile joint.
A whole day wasted, trying with all OS in my hand: win7, ubuntu, Raspbian, OpenELEC: the device no reaction. Is it broken? I do not know because no information on the brand and model are available on the package, so the pilots proposed are still not good (windows 7 can identify that is a "usb wifi 802.11n" and linux can not even identify a if is a wifi usb, hub or else!).
Totally disappointed with this product, a waste of time and money. (Now you can have the RIGHT product, for the GOOD sender at a lower price, but confidence is not there)
Last problem: as the product does not match the one displayed and sender (I do not know if we can show the name) has already removed the product from its catalog, is it correct to view this criticism?
MAJ:
I managed to make it work on the machine with Windows 7! (With proprietary software), but note that I received, MediaTek MT7601 chipset is unlike other possible compatible out of the box with Raspberry pi as RTL8188CUS but is very possible and very heavy to do walking on Raspbian, one must download ~ 1GB to recompile the kernel to run the wifi with pilots proposed by the CD or aillor best drivers.
This procedure is impossible with OpenELEC for example.
Here is the link:

Contrary to what the sender is, all usb "generic" are not compatible with the Raspberry Pi (of course with a machine that has not ARM architecture and a more comprehensive linux you can have everything, but in this case it is GRAND GROS and marked "USB WiFi Adapter for Raspberry Pi")
For a very extensive list:

If you lachetez and he doesnt directly view the list of active usb with the command lsusb then look if it is compatible is a good first step!
I urge shippers to mark the chipset dongle every time, or at least list the list of possible chipsets and know what was there in the lotto!
