I bought the photo studio set vidaXL half a year ago and can say without hesitation after extensive use, that it is an excellent value for money.
I am an ambitious amateur photographer for many years and had my focus mainly on natural, panoramic and architectural photography. This was, above all, the fact that you now need just one for portrait photography not only light, but specifically set light. Sometimes it has to be soft, then hard again and again another must it be hard and white. This enormous diversity is even greater many times when a background, reflectors and lighting are concerning themselves often requires multiple light sources for optimal illumination.
Background and reflectors even excluding this photo studio set fully meets the requirements.
Now a little more detail:
Packing:
-well packed
-no wobbling possible
-Easy oily smell (which is but gone for a day)
Case:
-good processing (it is better, but for the price more than okay)
-something thinly held, therefore no shock absorption
-Tasche Almost only the umbrellas and tripods (for studio flashes has an external transportation option are found)
Umbrellas:
-the lands must be treated with caution (push yourself when attaching a fast but is only an optical defect)
-For the beginning quite sufficient later can be quite convenient to resort to larger screens
Stands:
-Make a very good impression
-for windy exteriors only suitable / studio but no problem (I had already 1.90m reflector umbrellas attached thereto)
-Schnellspannsystem Working properly (lever made of durable plastic)
-Secure Stand
Funkauslöser:
• Works reliably
Processing seems a bit cheap
-Batteriefach Opens frictionless
Studio flashes:
Let. Now to the important part of the set's, the studio flashes This was anticipated already mentioned that they can only be operated by a power source. No generators or batteries installed! That is so far but in the description. Processing of high-quality and durable plastic. The lights are very persistent (I still use the Orignialleuchtkörper). Only downside is the adjustment of the light brightness. Advanced lightning and access to a "panel system" similar to the camera. If you change the camera's brightness by one stop, so you can compensate for this wonderful, by adjusting the light intensity of the flash by one stop. The result would therefore be exactly the same light intensity. However, such a system lacks the Studioset - here the light intensity is adjusted via a dial, which is, and classified in 1. If now the price but keeping an eye on, then you can cope with this shortcoming before. For the "everyday" and "professional" use, this would be a committee-criterion, as you vary greatly by changing exposure sets must and no time has passed "trial and error" to find out the correct exposure. How do we come already to the last point of my review:
Conclusion:
For those who have only a small budget and are not yet sure if the portrait photography is something for them, this studio set a great way with very little effort to achieve good results. Professional and semi-professional photographers should, however, save the money and choose the far more expensive flashes. Here would be called as an alternative example of Priolite MB500, which does an excellent job and also still scores with integrated rechargeable battery and built-in remote control. All in all I can recommend without hesitation Studioset but (if you can live with the shortcomings listed above) and would buy again at any time.
