What an album! - Gloomy, magical, unique

Only by chance I came across Breaking Benjamin as her song was in the background at any movie. This gloomy, but also soulful voice of singer Benjamin Burnley immediately caught my interest, so I came to the album "Phobia" (unfortunately, all the band's albums in Germany hard to come ...)

After the first listen I was overwhelmed. This feeling stood actually a after the first few songs. It exceeded my expectations fully.
Gloomy sounds, but with great feeling draw one into its spell. Finest alternative / hard rock with clear features and so much power that a set hackles. Exceptional, unusual music with great lyrics.
This band appears on one side so hard and cool, on the other hand, as hot as fire and full of emotion.
I think it is precisely this mixture that makes the music of Breaking Benjammin and makes them so unique.

Playing tips for the beginning would be:
-The Diary of Jane: long, düsters and enhancing intro, fast, hard rock with cool riffs and drums (Burnley goes sometimes its limits) Top!
-Breath: Dark and lighter tones Burnley voice harmonize here perfectly, the chorus follows the great explosion, the song builds to a power climax. Wow!
-Evil Angel: Intro loud, soulful, brighter song, a magical line runs pure by this song, Gänshaut!
-Topless: Wonderfully hard, full power hard rock piece, Hardcore hearts will beat faster, the icing on the album!

Nevertheless, one should listen to the whole album, because ultimately worth every bit. An album for up and down play. This is but saying something!

If you like dark, but clearly defined and distinctive Hard Rock, which is only to recommend this album!
A hammer band that has a lot of it and I want to hear the still very much in any case (unfortunately, the guys here in Europe still unknown) So buy CD, it is worth totally !!!
