What kind of cable

To a straight away to attach. With the LS Cable Oehlbach no better sound should be achieved. My wiring was just getting old, but still in function. I want to express myself here carefully whether the concept of age in cable of the part 33 years (no joke) seems even more appropriate.

In the course of the whole anger with strong hum and noise on my devil-conditioning I chose the Oehlbach LS cable, since the low frequency components (RCA) and headphone cables from Oehlbach could solve in their entirety the original problem already. To avoid trouble in the future and because each box a wiring length of 10 meters is required, a one-time investment should get back for a long time validity.

Over the coming years the plant is certainly more often replaced when the cables. I hope that with the Oehlbach a long-standing, good cooperation in the sound transmission to the respective connected speakers. Eben again for decades.

The cables have a very good workmanship. Overall, they are very flexible in spite of the thickness of 2.5 mm and can be laid well amazing. My old cables can not serve for comparison here. That was just a very different time, although the old time counted already to high-quality ;-)

As expected, I can find no superior improvement of music or sound output for connection. Nevertheless, it is audible. The middle section of the effect speakers is more pronounced. I could clearly notice by simultaneous mixed operation with old and new cables despite old ears. When operating with all the speakers results in a better rounded listening experience.

The point eye does not count for me because my cables are laid concealed.

I am completely satisfied with the cables and look forward thanks to the granted by the manufacturer a 30 year warranty on a friendship until the death of my hand :-)

Update 12/18/2013:

Sonics but an outstanding improvement in the output of movies at 96 kHz can be seen. The sound output for movies in 5.1 with Oehlbach cables in conjunction with my devil-plant motif V has become much stronger and total round. In particular, the effect loudspeakers play much more natural to. The bass is simply indescribable strong and pointed. The first time you played movie (Tron Legacy) I forgot almost the Chips Dining :-))

Whether a further increase is available at 192 kHz (BluRay HD Master), I can not say for lack of this necessary hardware unfortunately.

Although it's often said, the better cables can not really bring anything except an empty wallet, I can report here the opposite. And that even with a not high-end system.
