Basically, it is always difficult to evaluate a graphics card of a particular manufacturer, because not differ and the maps of different providers in their performance and in price only marginally.
That this card at the moment has a great price / performance ratio and the performance for virtually all current games ranges on high graphics settings, was here already mentioned several times. I would therefore go primarily to the points that differentiates the map of another:
- Even the packaging makes a very sophisticated look. The card is packed in an anti-static bubble bag, which is located in a foam-cushioned cardboard. When unpacking One has the impression that one is dealing with a valued product. Unlike the above-mentioned map of the competition, which were packed in a rigid plastic bag in which you had to be afraid already in retrieving the graphics card, something by which edged plastic damaging.
- The map are 2 adapter 4-pin power cables in the 6-pin PCI-E power connector. I find very useful, since there are both old as well as new power supplies to 400W, although enough, but only one PCI-E power have electricity.
- That the quality first impression does not deceive, you realize at least after installing the card. Various other cards are even audible at idle, under load the noise is almost unbearable. The cooler of Sapphire's 6870 go whisper, inaudible in desktop mode. Even under full load the card remains pleasantly quiet. I have as yet no standard cooler experience (apart from the ultra-quiet special models with huge coolers and 2-3 fans) who is so quiet.
As I said, on the good price and the very good performance, we do not need to continue talking. Due to these points, I can absolutely recommend the 6870 from Sapphire and would anytime prefer this model.
