When it starts, you can not stop!

After reading "The Man Who Loved the killers," I really wanted to read another novel by Bernard Boudeau, happens 5 years ago and in which we find the character of Gontier.
If I have a slight preference for "The Man Who Loved the killers," "Beware of Assia!" is also a very good thriller. The kind of book that begins and we want not let go until the end. I have not been disappointed!
The plot unfolds slowly, Mary student goes back to the past and says Gontier childhood Assia in Russia, the massacre of Hauts de Nice, he fled and his new life as Mary. If the regular changes of places and eras destabilize a bit at the start, you get used quickly, you just have to pay attention to the date indicated earlier in this chapter. Gradually, the past catches up with the present and the vengence of Assia can begin, an implacable vengeance. But finding the massacre sponsors is more complicated than expected, especially in emerging from the shadows, Mary draws to itself those who want to complete the unfinished work by his flight Hauts de Nice.
The character of Mary is quite interesting, with its multiple personalities: the Russian Assia, the student Marie and Beatrice's bodyguard, but she remains a woman in love and a woman hunted, which it attaches quickly. We travel with it, Russia in 1985, France in 1991, Miami in 2000 to New York in 2001 - including the day of September 11!
This thriller has the merit of having me réconcilliée with the genre, it is not nothing!
