Remember Me - [PlayStation 3] (Video Game)

Customer Review

I have a rating system in which there is to achieve a maximum of 100 points for games. Under the Conclusion scoring and points that can be achieved is carried out. Here I share in technology, gameplay, story and atmosphere. I can also assure you that no relevant spoiler will occur. You can also directly read through the outline of the part that interests you. For too lazy to read it is enough to read only the Gesamtfazit .;)

It is, incidentally, only my opinion. I am neutral towards any genre and am working mostly with the single player of a game.

Gameplay:

Control:
As befits a game with platformer deposits, located Remember Me controls dynamically. However, you need only the X button to jump and that's it. With R1 you can climb faster, but only at the margins. The combat system is based on several key combination, to what timing and buttons vote. This works very well without any delays.

Gameplay:
It will primarily cover three elements. JumpnRun- and HacknSlay parts can be found. There are also special gameplay, where you have to remix memories, so as to change the present. I did so really not seen. Properly commendable. What I am getting at is that this game with three different gameplay types brings a lot of variety in the round, because those are already three types example, offer more than one at a Batman. ^^

Combat system:
The focus of the gameplay is still the fighting, that's why I want to go into this in more detail. After about 15 minutes you will unlock the Kombolab, in which you can use for the time being only a 3-combo with Damage attacks. Later, 5 or even higher combos are added. In addition, their new attack types will unlock, increase for example your health. With X you should dodge the opponent's attacks and then continue the combo. That was not all the combat system, but I do not want to spoil you and to anticipate the reward effect. Suffice it to say: The combat system makes fucking mood. I'm mostly happy even if I was allowed to fight again.

Difficulty:
You can choose between easy, medium and hard. The types are described as example Skriptkiddie or memory hunters. I do not know why, but I had such a need, the same blind to play at the highest difficulty level. That was not necessarily wise. The difficulty is in itself, okay. The fact that at the highest level, more needs for the intermediate bosses, I'm already used to in the old God of War parts. So you need nerves of steel here. My real problem is that the medium level of difficulty would probably have done exactly the balance between challenging and easily. Then you can again with all the earned Kombi and health bars try hardest degree, which I would have had total Bock, but what twice by the same play. An over-upward-Awesome-Brainfu * k-difficulty would have been missing.

Conclusion:
I can not say that its focus on Remember Me Gameplay places, but it offers a still definitely 10 times more fun than many other titles, which it does. The combat system makes you feel good here and the platformer inserts create variety. The ace up its sleeve is the remix to memories, which also made me extremely fun. Mostly I've even tried not to reach the goal to go through all the options. All in all not perfect, but it needs to be.

Story:

Action (so ne Art blurb):
We start our run in the body of a confused girl named Ni'lin. It's the year 2084 and are in a thought-Beraubungsanstalt (if one can say so ^^) and know just the bare necessities. Someone phone trying to get through to us and wants to get us out of here. He thinks he knows who we are and what we want, but we can trust him at all

Background:
Until the 90 in the 21st century has done much. A huge company called Memorize offers to store memories as on a hard drive to never forget something again. If memories can save as normal files, you can also edit or even delete and that makes the government's advantage. If I have understood things correctly, offenses are punished as thoughts manipulation with the deletion of all memories and that's what must drive us back.

History:
Remember Me is right called me at the beginning, because it is not easy to take residence in the story. Later on, the game hardly loses its appeal. Exciting twists and emotions are everyday.

Synchro language:
Who but the German language, yet others is powerful should take his chance here, because never before was my mother language so alien, as in this title. As indicated by the google translator and lip sync you can enter into the garbage anyway. The original soundtrack in French will probably be the best choice. I could also complain to the English only a little, however. The point is that I could not take seriously the emotions in the German setting of sheer shake of the head. Would be a shame drum, so who wants to improve his English skills, the opportunity should be used.

Conclusion:
Yes, hm .. The story is now no bomb, but not very good but not bad either. Rather as between medium and well. The staging is wrong with That said Synchro. Behind the course now stuck no geniuses in order to create a complex plot, but like it has me all times. What the rating comes specifically to Good, is the background of the story. 2er World War or good boy bad boy chasing you in every other title, but Neo-Paris with a future formative invention as thoughts storage there was probably never. The most important point of criticism: The story needs a sensible and mature presentation. More towards The Last of Us, Prince of Persia Warrior Within or Spec Ops The Line. Thus, the conclusions seem to me partly really silly. One criticism, about which I can overlook.

Atmosphere:

Setting:
As mentioned Felt ten times, we find ourselves in a Neo-Paris with sci-fi presentation. Approximately like a mixture of Dead Space and Prince of Persia (2008). Everywhere appear holographic Info texts or neon lights.

Soundtrack:
I must also praise the soundtrack in the sky. The accompanied namely perfect mood and is made up of orchestral and electro elements. So although the genre is a matter of taste per se, but I like it. The soundtrack is scripted in many places and dynamically only in normal battles. Depending on Kombo progress takes on the soundtrack to ride. Scripted is now, at a certain point always uses the same composition. Or while you're in this Arial, runs constantly the same track in the loop. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it should just come across as.

Level Design:
High praise at this point. The world is so colorful, open and lively. Because they made us feel better. In a word, gorgeous. There are also darker level for example in the sewers, but mostly do not last as long.

Conclusion:
Even the atmosphere is impressive. Geiler Soundtrack, horny environment. Without criticism my adventure is not it, but was taken directly wrong here nothing. Well done, Dontnod Entertainment!

Technology:

Graphics:
Remember Me is running with the Unreal Engine, which you really do not look it. Absolutely top is the lighting design and the textures sharpness is impressive for PS3 ratios. The mirror effects look better than usual by the Unreal Engine and its strengths as antialiasing come here to advantage. Shadows are rarely gets to see, but if, then for no flicker and sharp.

Sound:
The sound can be heard. The effects and settings of the votes, at least in technical terms without flaws. Hi-fi nerds like me will get their money, because the sound is all in all very rich and deep. The surround sound is working properly and echo effects to hear nice space to. According to the Credit has also collaborated with DTS, but it can not be set, and I was even Dolby Digital displayed.

Scope:
As usual with Capcom, to increase the volume to be desired. The story gives you sustenance for about 10 hours of play, and then the air is out. Play through a second time only pays off if you have not played the Hardest Difficulty. In addition, of course, can buy 2,000 small, unnecessary DLCs.

Loading screen:
Also negatively stands out of some long loading screen. After but not as often dies, it remains within the acceptable range. Even on the hardest difficulty I have never actually become really mad. For intermediate bosses wars halt pretty annoying, but okay. Nowhere near as bad as in a Need for Speed The Run where you restarts every 30 seconds, because the handling so failed * e is or Giana Sisters, where you can really ever dies.

Conclusion:
If you want to make new hardware to the test, is served with Remember Me well as the source. In relation to other games, this title, however, provides little scope. For 60 to release 10 hours of play are very little. But since I have to turn a blind eye, because I could hear not a single bug or graphical errors. Only very rarely the frame number broke and it was gaffe.

Overall rating:

Remember Me makes little wrong. However, no focus reveals. As it is most like me, each part is simply good to very good, and this results in a very laudable and fun game. This is almost impossible to find nowadays. Usually a part is very well implemented, two mediocre and some bad. In The Last of Us, for example everything was very good, except the gameplay, by which the whole game suffered. That's not the case here. Almost everything was perfect. My biggest criticism is the slightly illogical story. A ripe told story offers a measurable plot would not have hurt. Nevertheless, Remember Me is definitely my surprise title-2013.

For Remember Me from me it 88/100 points.

The product thus gets a 5-star safety rating and is a strong buy recommendation on my part. Do not let yourself miss this pearl .;) I hope I could help with my review and I would still be happy about a positive feedback. : P
