Of course you have the wiener Genuschel understand-which is sometimes tedious and at times - but the film brings over a dry sense of humor that borders on cynicism - to laugh, the actors have not really, they all somehow stuck in the shit - but it does not come as slapstick or over hyped dud, but always in such a way as it could have possibly been true. That makes believable and allows the (mini) series touched - without kitsch and lard and a tear of laughter in her eye. The main character wearing his cool-melancholy representation as well as helping his colleague with her bluestocking look.
Total angle, touching, almost grotesque and hard on the border of the romantic - with a good shot of black humor -but without limit violation - Comic Sans overdraft and almost romantic - and even the happy ending is a grotesque compromise.
