Unfortunately, the Wicked Chili has been favored developed for Apple products. It shows the fact that only these can be loaded without any problems. My equipment did not want to be loaded. Only when I the Wicked several times back and herschob and the contact broke into the cigarette lighter. As an electrical engineer I have put myself on the search for the problem and have broken the product.
It has been found that the Wicked provides via voltage divider 2.8 V to 2.0 V, D + and D- to the line (both internal USB pins). So this is a voltage difference of 0.8 V. Mir is now a mystery why Apple products require this voltage.
Because I wanted to avoid this option, but not the tiny SMD wanted Unsolder resistors I have the pins of the data line from the solder pad and slightly bent up. Behold, at once all devices are loaded with no problems.
Now there is still the opportunity to bring the quick charge some devices to life. For a resistor of
All in all, a good device, if you know how to handle it. One star deduction, because not all devices work with it. Here are a few metrics:
- Input voltage: 9 - 24V
- Closed-circuit current (no load): 10 mA at 12 V Input Voltage
- Output voltage: 5.1 V (constant even during load and regardless of the input voltage)
