Finally, the app was released. The design is still in need of improvement and the movie listing confusing, but run the movies and in usual good quality.
The app runs smoothly on tablets, however, the smartphone version of the Amazon app to be installed, which can be deleted after installation.
The many negative reviews do not relate to the quality of the app, but to the non-fulfillment of unrealistic expectations:
- Chromecast support: What for? Amazon wants to sell yes Fire TV and do not support a competitor ...
- Offline mode: is available on Kindle Fire Tablets and Amazon wants this eventually sell (there are a few euros) ...
