Works, but not as a kettle grill.

I bought this grill / smoker for first steps in terms of cold smoking.

Delivery arrived quickly, goods in good condition. With a grill / smoker in this price range one must be clear that this is not about "German quality". With a little technical knowledge, hearty courage grab now and then and a touch of humor to the part but could easily assemble.
Annoying I found that the representation in the photos in a particular detail is wrong: On a picture top and bottom part without midsection are directly placed on one another, so that a small kettle grill is produced. For the respective diameters of the two parts would fit together, and the middle part was cylindrical with the same diameter top and bottom.
I had therefore ordered me two of these Smoker to additionally incorporate the centerpiece of the one to the other and thus obtain a high Smoker and a small kettle grill.
In assembling the first then showed that the diameters of the upper and lower portions are not the same flat. This is my plan did not perform as well as the use as a kettle grill is definitely not possible. The corresponding figure here is so wrong, I have the dealer already pointed out in mid-January.
I then keep only a grill, because it was sufficient for my first Räucherversuche (and still is). The return was a really tiresome procedure, since the trader despite clearly clearer Beschrebung still wanted photos from which the error is identified. The return ticket was for DPD, so that I as yet had to find one of the rare sowed Shops. For any future orders with this dealer that experience will certainly be included with the purchase decision, but that's more issue for supplier evaluation. -
Back to Grill: function is sufficient for me, and with the cold smoke generator of Barbecook themselves to me as a beginner succeeded very tasty results when it comes to smoking.
The tightness of this Smokers is expected to be not so great, because you have to make improvements when necessary. For instructions, visit the forums. For me, this is so far not a problem, then burn incense's just the shed full machts nothing, keeps's vermin away, and the condensed water dripping on the underlaid carton.
Summary: Only works partly as expected for me. Deductions due to incorrect description. Within this constraint, but recommended.
