I thought we could add a tube, but this is ALMOST impossible: indeed, the tube does not allow to hang neither my nor my motorized brush vacuum cleaner.
By cons, it is possible to attach non-motorized accessories and if you're a little handy, simply grind the plastic part that protects electrical son located under the tube to connect it to the DC16.
To summarize: it is not compatible with the DC16, but if you abandon the powerhead and with a few tweaks, it passes.
